What I especially like about ep2 of Phantom is how it shows the intensity of the training achieving a dual purpose for Zwei (it allows him to forget that he will be a killer) and Inferno (Zwei will think less and follow their orders more willingly).
From what I see, FMA is telling a non-linear story... They'll probably show some flash backs here and there. But, yeah, strange pacing. They immediately showed the Xing alchemy, too... At least there is more explanation on the alchemy process, compared to the last one.

I should start watching Lucky Star again soon. I watched the first episode, and wasn't terribly impressed, but I have been told by 'Gome (former-hater-but-now-Lucky Star fan) that it gets good sometime after ep 4. XP Meh.
Heh, eps 9-12 of Gurren Lagann are actually my favorites. ^^ It's just a good batch, imo. Plus, I like Nia.

@TimeChaser:
I just have to take a look at my DVDs and see which one I need next. I'm really lazy about it for some reason....
Beans are evil. Bad, bad beans.

Simon really irritated me for a while there. The world does not need two Shinjis. =_=
FMA's pacing is a little strange, but I'm loving Mustang's early involvement. *total fangirl* XD
