I love Honey & Clover, esp. now that I'm a college student myself. It's just so much more realistic and relevant of a show in comparison to most other slice-of-life shows, anime or otherwise.

I like that Eden of the East uses American VAs and uses black characters along with white ones (esp. since the areas surrounding DC actually do have a large black population from what I've heard)... most anime don't put in that kind of effort.

I've heard about Ristorante Paradiso from you and Ryo now. I think I'll look into it.

I should also brush up on my cognates, considering I initially translated 'ristorante' as 'restoration' and not 'restaurant'.

Yeah, I understand that thought, but then again . . . it's the first episode. =P There's not really a lot to spoil, at least from my point of view. Granted, I already knew what was going on in 07 Ghost (been reading the manga), but the only way I knew anything about Ristorante Paradiso, to even see if I was interested, was by going in and reading the spoiler tags.

Besides, isn't the first episode where they try and sell you on the series to begin with?

Just something odd that struck me.

07-Ghost has started out pretty strong. I'm definitely going to keep following it. And of course, Higashi no Eden has me hooked. XD

And I understand the tagging business. I prefer knowing absolutely nothing about a show before watching it. Even a bit more detailed summary can take away some of the initial fun. "I wanted to be in suspense those first 15 minutes, dangit!" XP

Yeah, I was annoyed with Maity at first 'cause I didn't want him getting in the way, but he ended up being a cool guy.

And yes! Finally! A kiss! I rewatched that scene so many times, man. XD
