Me, I really enjoyed the new Fullmetal Alchemist, but mostly on an animation level. There just appeared to be more movement, more flow, more life I suppose I want to say. Watching the story of them losing their body/limbs will be the strangest I think, it being so key to both the anime and the manga and playing out the same in both.
I'm really falling back on my anime otherwise, don't watch it much at all *is ashamed*. Lifes just too busy currently.
You've got the jump on me when it comes to most of these new shows, but I'll agree with your optimism regarding Phantom. If they keep the pacing right, it could really go places.
