I second the recs for gSS; they're fast and pretty accurate.

I've gotten used to Tennant. It's going to be really odd to see someone else playing as the doctor. o_O

Go with gSS subs if you want High Quality and fast releases. Shinsen is also subbing it, I don't know how far they are though.

What player do you use to watch .mkv files? I use Media Player Classic, which I nabbed with all the necessary codecs from here, and it works just fine. Then again, I cannot really attest to the quality of Shinsen's videos, having not watched them, myself.

Shinsen Subs is working on it. I like them, good quality if you stay away from the .mkv versions. I like that they are a higher resolution, but at least with my player, it will cut out subs and I will miss stuff. The .avi is good and you dont miss a line.

gSS is working on it, and that is what Ryo is using. Their quality is quite good, and I think that they are only like a week behind Japan in terms of eps.

I still need to look in terms of who has what.

I thought you were already watching Season 2. You'd seen Season 1 in subs first, right? Or was it that you didn't start until just before the dub premiered and decided to switch to that?

I'm going to grab all the episodes this week, and just keep them in reserve until after next Monday. ^^ That way I won't have to deal with lag time between seasons. 8D

I am using Menclave for season two. The only problem with that group is it is notoriously slow -- it is only up to ep11 (out of 17) so far. Very high-quality group, and I have no complaints at all about their releases, but I wish it was a bit faster. :)
