They've taken a break since Tennant was performing for several months in Hamlet, so 2009 will just be an Easter and Christmas specials, then a 2-part special early in 2010 to lead into Season 5.

But, they say they plan to do this form now on: flim a few seasons, take a year off, repeat.

Not 'til 2010? Holy crap.

But hey, it's several months til filming: he could cut his hair, obviously he could be wearing something entirely different than the clothes he's got on in the press photo (no word on that being his official costume).

He seems alright in the Q &A video, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. ^^ Plus I don't think Steven Moffat of all people would ever cast someone who couldn't play the part.

There was always some kind of appeal in the Doctor of the time, just not necessarily a physical one. I was mostly referencing that some people would fangirl over this guy look, just not me. The initial creep factor quells any such feelings. XP

This chunk of man-meat looks like he's the director's attempt to bring in more younger fangirls. I hope he does well enough to not be just eye-candy. -_-' Good looks are one thing, acting talent is another. *cough*OrlandoBloom*cough*

Hmm... maybe the Twelfth Doctor will be some dude in his forties or fifties. ^_^v I'd love to watch the fangirls' heads explode on that one.

They're probably the young fangirls who haven't gone through as many of them as I have. 8D That's one good thing about being a fan for so long: you hate to see a good one go, but you know it's inevitable.
