Oh god that's terrible, Times. But I know how you feel, I've been sick for a good while and had to do all this nasty (and painful) exams and I'll be doing a new batch of them soon again so I truly know how you feel.

My immune system is weaker than average because of the heart condition I was born with. Plus I'm not as active as I should be. So when I get sick it tends to linger.

Why's your immune system weak? Heredity? Birth defect? My sister is very prone to illness. Hers was from my mother's state during pregnancy. Not much we can do about it. You in the same boat?

Until today, I hadn't seen him since last July. In that time I've been going up the Shands Hospital in Gainseville. That's where I've had all my heart operations, anf that's where they diagnosed my infection. Now, they should have been sending reports to me general doctor back here at home, but he hasn't received any.

We don't have the greatest medical system, at least down here in my part of Florida.

We had a CT scan of my chest done locally last year, but after going through it for a good 15 minutes their pictures were too blurry to see anything. When we went north to the hospital in Gainseville, they did a scan there too. Less than 5 minutes in their machine and they had clear pictures that told them exactly what was wrong with me.

I hate being sick. It absolutely sucks, and I get sick really easily.

I hope you get to feeling better (I have a HUGE fear of needles). I think I may have also caught the flu because of my idiot friend so I may not be on that much in the next week.

There's the efficient health care system for you. Maybe the reports would show up if the doctor's office directly contacted the hospital for them, like in a "hand them over or we'll talk to the accreditation board for your facility about your lax in proper records keeping."

Wow, I'm hung up on the fact they want to make you cough. Doesn't sound pleasant one bit.

My grandparents are down in Florida and my Grandpa got ill and after they came back up to MI they said that if he ever got sick like that again they would hurry to hospitals here, they said that the doctors aren't very good. Is that true?

He knew I'd had an infeciton and what kind it was, but the last official report he had on-file was from 2006. We're always telling the hospital to send reporst back down here, but it seems they haven't o_O
