Happy Belated Birthday! I wish I could have said it earlier, but various things have conspired against me (and everyone else: theO's server otakulype).
Nifty present there. I'm curious about what kind of file do those readers use? All the digital texts I have are in pdf format, but I have no idea what those ebook readers use.
I felt the same way, so for a long time I refused to get one. But I also have to weigh in space issues, and I can't really buy books forever if I don't have anymore place to put them. :P
I have a Kindle. . . but there's just something nice about the feel of an actual book in your hands. However, I do use my Kindle for some of the Doctor Who books that I can't find on Amazon anymore. C:

Kindles do sound rather cool, but at the moment i'll just stick to the library. Which reminds me, I have overdue fees to pay... :[

I still think it's cuz you don't have to worry about smudging the pages, crinkling the cover, breaking the spine or bending the whole book. XP
