Me, I wasn't a fan of most of Torchwood, too much 'Jack snogging anything that moved' and 'we all love Jack'...its like Russel T Davis is so upset he can't put homosexuality in Doctor Who he lets it explode in Torchwood. Nothing against homosexuals I add, but hows about less kissy more action.
Course, Doctor Who IS a family show so Torchwood had to shake off the assumption it would be the same somehow. Still they have post watershed Torchwood and now pre-watershed edited Torchwood....so 45mins worth of show becomes more like 30.
As for Agatha Christie, I like the episodes that go back in time (but not so far back like the Rome one)
Ok i might let them get away with not having them all the time but i do liek it when they appear lol! Guess they keep putting them in because they are a good selling point for the show as everyone pretty much knows who they are! Would be nice to have a final showdown between them and the doctor maybe with finding out more about the time wars and their rivalry and stuff (probably covered in the earlier series liek in the 80s but would be nice to see them redone or something similar)!
I loved Torchwood it is almost liek the adults versian of Dr Who you know more focused on the darker aspects while Dr Who is more childfriendly (i mean those adopiceae aliens were a touch lame), cant wait for the next series when it is finally released! Its going to be amazing!
They don't have to get rid of them forever, I'd just like a season or two without them ^^

Aww they cant get rid of the Daleks ~ Pouts ~ They are the most iconic Dr Who baddie, save maybe the cybermen! Plus aren't they meant to be like the main rival of the Doctor save the Master who i think has vanished for good (tries to remember)! I hoep they don't go, do you watch Torchwood as well as Dr Who since it's the spinoff?

If there is one thing I'm learning about this show, if there is something that is suppose to be off about history, it is the Doctor's fault somehow. :p

Heh, I hope after this they give up the Daleks for awhile. I'm kind of sick of them always popping up =P
I'm sure they'll be in the season finale, which means out of four seasons, this will be the third season finale involving the Daleks o_O

Wouldn't be much of a show if the Doctor wasnt involved with it somewhere ~ Laughs ~ Sounds fun though, i'm just waiting for the return of the Daleks!
