I don't want to go to the dentist. T.T The doctor thinks there's a cavity and wants to drill and stuff. That was 4 years ago and the tooth still doesn't hurt. *sticks tongue out at dentist*

But I'm sorry you had to go through that Timechaser. Also sorry you've got a follow up...and that gag reflex is murder(used to take a lot of personal strength for me to get past that)... you have my sympathies...

You never mentioned just how bad (or good?) your teeth actually were, according to dentist's standards. :P
And yes, it's probably best to have separate doctors for teeth and... well, other things. It's sort of that thing where, "I'm sure you're a nice person, but I hate seeing you."
Not entirely sure that was relevant, but ah well.
My dentist appointments became much more bearable after I started using an electric toothbrush. Kind of like how wearing contacts make me much less sensitive about sticking stuff (fingers, makeup, whatever) in/around my eyes.
Oh, you've got a gag reflex. Poor thing. I had that pretty bad when I was a kid. They had to brush the flouride onto my teeth. Then I didn't go to the dentist for a few years and that somehow cured it. Now I'm able to get a root extraction without even flinching. *shrugs* I always thought the drill sounds were cool.

You must be =P I've never liked cleanings. The sound and feel of those brushes is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me, plus the toothpaste and flouride make me want to throw up o_O
