I just have NOT had the best of days today...Which is odd, cuz my band practice was canceled, and that should constitute a good day, but noooooooooo....
Played a lot of Subspace Emissary today...it's addicting...
I didn't do any drawing today TT~TT I just...didn't feel like it... XP
My mom tried to guilt trip me into hanging out with people I don't like today...well, that's not true. It's not that I don't like them. They don't like me. Out of this group, only one girl actually likes me, and she invited me over for a movie night with other people...people who really don't like to be around me, and honestly, that makes me not want to be around them. Plus I KNEW we were going to end up watching some "girl's night out" classic movie...My interests are extremely different from everyone else's >////<
I want to have a Studio Ghibli marathon. It's going to be scheduled. I just need to get my hands on half the movies...Though I do have that website emogit gave me... I just realized that I don't own Spirited Away...or Kiki's Delivery Service... O.o Kiki was my childhood XD My MOM knows Kiki's Delivery Service... Oh well. Who wants to do a Studio Ghibli marathon? (is totally serious) It could be my "birthday party"... (would only have three or four people she could invite...) This question is kinda directed at the three people I know in person on here...unless you other guys wanna teleport to my house or something, I'm totally cool with that XD
So that friend I keep ranting about...I think Arthur (my phone) doesn't like her much...Either that or she just randomly stops texting in the middle of conversations...I always feel like Arthur has eaten her texts or something... Here's how I think things went down today...
Friend: (through text) "*grabs Canada man's boobs*" (I'm assuming she meant "Canada's man boobs"...)
Me: ...-_- (texts back) "*violent facepalm*" (doesn't feel like starting something)
Arthur: (looks at first text) WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?! YOU DISGUSTING, PERVERTED WANKER! DON'T YOU EVER, EVER TOUCH MY BOYFRIEND AGAIN! (deletes the rest of the texts she sends)
...At least I know my phone's looking out for me? ^^; (huggles phone)
I've been having more weird Maple Tea daydreams lately...One recurring one is where Arthur is a magician and Mattie's a ghost with this weird hex on his throat so he can't speak...And Mattie keeps following Artie around, like, "Help me, pwease?" (but with gestures, not words, of course XD) and Artie keeps being a jerk to him... BUT HE SHALL ALWAYS PROTECT HIM FROM SEXUAL ASSAULT! (points to phone conversation)
And Mattie was in that super cute ghost outfit I designed for him <3
I haven't uploaded anything in ages...Not even my Earthbound bookmarks XP Oh well, I HAS A CARD IDEA~~! (dashes away)
Tata~!

HOLD ONTO YOUR PANTS KIDDIES CUZ I'VE GOT A LOT TO TALK ABOUT TONIGHT. In fact, I'll probably divide this into sections in case people don't want to read everything at once. XD Don't know why I all the sudden want to talk about a lot of stuff... The title of this was supposed to be "I Feel Like Writing" but I got to the "I Feel" and then remembered something one of my favorite Let's Players has on his channel, so I put that instead.
~~~~~Section 1~~~~~
Anyways, gonna talk about MAGIC PIANO first. It was an app I found in the "App Starter Kit" series in the iTunes store. DANG is it addicting...You don't even need to know how to play piano. You just have to tap the screen at the proper time. It's kinda like guitar hero, except you can't fail and you have control of the tempo. It's really fun, but I would suggest not purchasing songs with lyrics, cuz it doesn't come out right with just the piano...
They had Prelude in C sharp Minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff!! This song is the song I use when people ask, "How well can Damien play piano?" Well, yeah, he can play very well. Check it out for yourself!! (You may want to turn up the volume.) You'll be amazed...It's absolutely beautiful...This guy was amazing. Now picture Damien sitting there playing this...
Alrighty, onto:
~~~~~Section 2~~~~~
Magic Piano reintroduced me to more classical crap that I'd forgotten...like PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION!!! And one piece in particular that I used to be able to play... It's called The Old Castle. (Volume, again!!) This song is amazingly sad and beautiful. My piano teacher described it to me in an odd but almost chilling way...The bassline that you hear, the constant note? That's the castle's heartbeat. And the end...it's the castle's last stand...And the VERY END...You just have to listen. I almost cried when I listened to it and thought about it like that... So beautiful...
NO MORE CLASSICAL MUSIC TALK, CUZ IT'S TIME TO MOVE ONTO:
~~~~~Section 3~~~~~
Got all my school supplies and stuff for school on Friday. Stole a Mario folder from my brother...Also got a backpack with mountains on it. Makes me feel very Canadian :3 So here's what I have to do tomorrow:
1. Find a gift bag for emogit's stuff.
2. Label Japan stuff for broski.
3. Scan stuff in.
4. Actually draw my Library thank you...and finish the banner...
5. Hopefully get my roster fixed AGAIN.
6. Draw Future Luke in a scarf.
7. Watch someone play Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and pretend I'm playing it myself. XD
8. Figure out Chuggaaconroy's hints...
ACTUALLY, SEGUE (is that how you spell it) TO:
~~~~~Section 4~~~~~
Anyone out there really know Nintendo games? I mean, I'm assuming it's a Nintendo game...Anyway, three hints that Chuggaaconroy gave about what his next LP will be:
Cover
Heart
Today
Today MIGHT refer to August 28th, since that's the day he gave that hint... Most people are saying either Majora's Mask (A mask COVERs your face, Majora's Mask is shaped like a HEART, and TODAY refers to the "three days to save the world" gameplay) or Super Paper Mario (COVER of the Light/Dark Prognosticus(?), the Pure and Chaos HEARTS, and it begins with the words "TODAY...I'm going to tell you a story..." plus the Nintendo's Choice something or other rereleased it on 8/28). Anyone got any ideas?
I'd be fine with either of those two games, though...I love Majora's Mask, and though I HATE Super Paper Mario, I LOVE Super Paper Mario's story. So, since I myself won't actually be dealing with the gameplay, I'd probably enjoy watching it. ^^
ALRIGHT, LAST ONE:
~~~~~Section 5~~~~~
So this is basically going to be a few brief-ish reviews of the Professor Layton games that have so far been released in North America. There won't be any spoilers, I promise!
Professor Layton and the Curious Village:
When I first saw ads for this game, I thought it was the most stupid looking thing I had ever seen. And then I played it. It was amazing. The puzzles were challenging but fun. The graphics were adorable. The music made me want to learn to play accordian. The characters were wild but charming. And, though I kinda figured out the solution to the big mystery by the end of it, it was still really shocking!
The thing I will talk about here, which actually applies to the other two games as well, is the cutscenes. They look like they are right out of an animated movie. And they sound like it, too, with voice acting and everything. It made me extremely happy when I unlocked movies in the bonus feature section, so I could just rewatch them over and over...Rewatching that one scene where Simon watches Professor Layton enter the room and sticks his giant nose into the air with an arrogant "Hmph"...
Character Obsession for this game: Simon. C'mon, cocky little a-hole, dressed up all nicely with a bowtie and those ADORABLE red glasses...This is the kind of character that I want to be best friends with. He's a very important part of the plot, too, but you don't see him for very long... TT~TT I STILL ADORE HIM THOUGH.
Moving on~!
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box:
In my opinion, this was the weakest game in the series. Not to say that it was bad, it was just not as thrilling or memorable as the first or third games. I liked the addition of the minigames in this, something which carried on to the third game. The mystery this time was interesting, but the clues you found this time were harder to piece together and it wasn't as rewarding when I found out the mystery.
The cutscenes were very nice again, with my particular favorite involving a swordfight. ^^ Not very much else to say about this game...Oh, loved the tea mini-game! And the hamster was funny: "I'm not so good at...moving and stuff..." (<-- story of UM's life)
Character Obsession for this game: Hard to say, cuz no one REALLY jumped out at me, but probably Barton. The assistant of Chelmey from the first game, he acts clueless, and kinda is, but is good-hearted and does know what he's doing...sometimes...I just think he's cute :3
AND NOW, THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR~~~~~!
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future:
Easily the best game in the series. They got everything right. The cutscenes were astounding, the puzzles were excellent, the mini-games were enjoyable (LOVED the picture book minigame), the story...
Oh god, the story. The story was the best story of maybe any DS game I have ever played, and honestly, possibly any game I have ever played. You get to see some of Professor Layton's backstory, and it is the saddest thing...And then the whole premise of going into the future...Here are a few of my reactions:
"Hm, that's interesting...Nice voice..."
"WOW. WOW."
"Oh my god...you're HOT..."
"Did you just...with...and...how...?! THAT'S EVEN HOTTER!!" (take that as you will ;p)
"They can...go back?"
"YAY FLORA!"
"Oh my GOD why are you so hot?!"
"...oh my god..."
"OH MY GOD."
"She's...what...what?"
"Awwwww....Professor..."
"WHAT?"
"F*CK. F*CK F*CK F*CK. F*CK NO."
"(uncontrollable sobs)"
"(sniffle) ...that's amazing..."
Did I say a few? I meant a lot...
The ending to this was COMPLETELY unexpected...but in a good way. I loved it. Definitely my favorite game.
Character Obsession for this game: FUTURE LUKE. WANT. WANT WANT WANT. He's just...oh my god...and his voice...I...I can't even describe how much I love this character XD Maybe another time...
Well, if you read all of this, I salute you. You deserve a cookie. Really. (gives you virtual cookie) Alrighty, I'm off! Tata~!
~~~
My one friend (the same one who hates Iggy) tried to rp with me today...It was difficult, a) cuz she's not organized AT ALL (misses her double parantheses system) and b) cuz it's exceedingly difficult to keep Mattie from murdering her character sometimes.
If your friend was dating someone you didn't really like, would you call their boyfriend a "British bastard" to their face? I think not...
ANYWAY RANT TIME OVER~! I've been having weird superhero/supervillain Maple Tea daydreams lately...I blame Duper Nao and Very Naughty Vampire -_-
Oh, hopefully I'll have a picture up soon, but I wanted to thank everyone for one hundred views on The Library and two hundred here!! You guys are AWESOME!
The Library should have a banner soon, too ^^ Now, if I just had a scanner...
So teachers at my school are striking...and good for them, the archdiocese is being a jerk to them...but it means that our school schedule is messed up...Like, I'm only going in for three hours Friday, but it's three hours of JUST SENIORS.
Why?! TT~TT I was looking forward to seeing emogit after all summer XP Oh well, I still has my broski and Poland and Italy...I'll survive, I guess...
Apparently Damien wants to sing to me tonight...DOES THIS MEAN HE LIKES ME?! (glomps Damien) I KNEW YOU LOVED ME!!!!
Damien: You sound like Fujian -_-
Anyways, I'm kinda out of stuff to say...maybe I'll go make ramen...but I'm too lazy... Tata~!

Today's Word Phrase: RUNNER ON THIRD
Today's Video Game: Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
~~~
Went to a baseball game for my major league team today. It was a shutout, nine-zip, our team. Tons of fun! I screamed a lot...
I also screamed "RUNNER ON THIRD" any time a player took that base...
"YOU'RE ON THIRD BASE, MIHASHI!!!" (is shot)
Anyways, on the way home from the game, we ran over...something...on the ground...and destroyed our tire -_- I found out how you change a tire!! :3 I actually got to bring the car down with the carjack. I had a pretty good rhythm going, too... (is proud of herself)
RANDOM FACT ABOUT MYSELF: Though I love video game characters to death, there aren't many cases in which I find characters physically attractive. In fact, I can only think of three:
1. Waka, from Okami
2. Your rival, from Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver
3. Future Luke, from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
Oh my god, Future Luke. How do I love thee, Future Luke? Let me count the ways...
1. YOU'RE AWESOME
2. YOUR VOICE IS HOT
3. YOU'RE ADORABLE
4. YOU'RE BRITISH
5. YOU'RE (is brick'd)
Fine, I'll stop...that's only the tip of the iceburg, believe me... It's hard to believe that such an annoying little brat (I kid, I kid, Luke can be cute) could grow up into THAT. <3 WANT. (glomps Future Luke and steals him for herself) And I want that hat, too. And his hair is adorable. And that blazer <3 (is brick'd again)
Alright, alright, I'll stop fangirling now ^^; Off to eat soup and (hopefully) watch the finale to Chuggaa's Pikmin 2 LP!!
Tata~!
