Steam is an online community that lets you download games or buy them. Well both XD It ranges from games down by Valve, to even games by Square Enix! While it does have a lot of games, it's not all the games. For instance, You can get FFXI on it, but you wont find others. I think. Valev were the origional creators, so if you buy a PC valve game disc, pop it in and first you need to get Steam. That way it'll work. It's quite usefull actually, and you can talk to mates, make frineds on the community games like TF2. Gmod can only be bought on steam, so that may be why you haven't heard of it. But it's a very useful program to have. I guess the only fault would be it takes ages to download a game, but other than that it's well good! ^^

Garrys Mod. It's made my Valve too. Pretty much you make your own game using characters and props frmo other Valve games. It's only on the PC version, I tihnk you can only get it on Steam, but also, you need another game to install it. I know Hlaf-Life 2 is one of them, I dont rember the others. Maybe TF2, but I forget. It's really fun and funny to do! type in gmod on youtube and you can see guys just goofing off with it! XD

No, not really.
There's Zombies and such but there really isn't any 'surprises'. The creepiest looking Zombie is like the Spitter, and she not that bad compared to other zombie creatures xD And you kill most of them from a distance.
