This was very good! In fact, it planted so many ideas in my head that I can't really leave a decent comment right now. There are things I have to ponder, so I'll let them float around in my head for a while. Nevertheless, it reminded me of some issues I've been wrestling with, namely, society and its members. Your work is somewhat related to what I've been thinking of lately.
