Well, anyway, my friend told me I should keep drawing and snce she is the only one I trust and fully listen to, I am going to do what she says. BUT I will not be uploading any of it unless I truly think it is worthy of being uploaded.

Unfortunately I can relate to how you are feeling right now. Personally I think you did a fantastic job on the GIF character. He's adorable, cute, and creepy all at the same time. I really like how you made it. Please don't give up on your art.
Personal story, a couple days ago, I posted this realisticish picture because I wanted to do something different. I received nothing but HATE for it. I mean I litterally got depressed, I actually wanted to give up drawing, but you know what? I am not going to give up because Haters gonna hate. You keep doing your thing, keep drawing, making awesome gif characters, and just stay awesome.
It's not just the fact that people didn't say much. It's also because my siblings and father didn't say much. All that they said was 'Oh'. And then that was it.
Well, I'm not posting fan art on the Otaku anymore unless I believe it's worthy of it. So therefore I probably won't ever put fan art on again.
Okay, so yesterday my friend said 'If you stop drawing, the stress will increase and possibly make you do something stupid'. So I've decided that I might not upload drawings on the Otaku. From now on, I just want to show my friend what I drew.
And, actually, in my opinion, I draw better using traditional. I just draw on the computer because there's nothing else to do. The reason why I haven't been uploading it is because I have no access to a camera.
you shouldn't give up on art, because of the feedback! first, if you like to do this then you'll be suffering from this decision, if drawing makes you happy, then just do it, no matter what! second maybe your dad doesn't understand how important is this for you, but I'm sure he didn't wanted to hurt your feelings. My father always happen to see me drawing at my desk and he never NEVER commented once, even to ask what I was drawing, but i don't really care about it because I love drawing and in the end that's what it matter. third is not true that you can't draw, you made some really cute drawings in the past, and you have a fantastic imagination for character designing, you just to keep practicing over and over again to get better, like anyone else! why don't you try with traditional art for a change? there's so many funny medium to use! watercolors, pencils, pens, markers.. maybe there's something you're particularly good at and you still don't know about it! fourth. Grimm is awesome. I just love him okay. I would do fan art of him all day long.
Ugh I know how frustrating it is, to not have people react to your art in the way you want them to. Just remember: create art because YOU like it and it makes YOU happy! I like your art and ideas (I really do!), you'll always have a fan in the form of me! Keep creating!

Noo, I really like it D: It's cute and creepy at the same time~ Plus, I could never do digital art. I'm so used to traditional that the shift would be difficult. But you did great!
