I just re-read that Ultimate X-Men where Colossus has his heart-to-heart with Nightcrawler about how he's the same friend he always was even before everyone knew he was gay. And then Nightcrawler went "Perhaps I didn't know that friend as vell as I thought I did..." or something.
This piece really reminded me of that. Go fig', huh?
