The Host Club's Favorite

Chapter 4 - The Horrible Accident

Beep…Beep

“Ugh,” I said as I turned over in my bed, dragging the covers over my head. I don’t want to get up. Today I promised to take the girls to the Host Club again, but why do I not want to go? I want to see Kaoru, but I don’t want to waste my time in there, I want to draw. I thought to myself, forcing my arm up and slamming my hand on the snooze button. I threw the covers back, revealing my silky pajamas. They were black with red lace coming off the rims of the top and bottoms. I yawned and stretched my arms. I stood out of bed and headed to my closet grabbing my Ouran uniform. I don’t see why they make us girls wear something so hideous. The guy’s uniforms are perfect and yet we have to wear a barf bag like this. I thought to myself once more. I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to the kitchen where my first maid was waiting for me.

“Good morning Mrs. Seramea. How did you sleep?” The women asked as she handing me an apple as I sat in my chair around the table.

I took a bite out of my apple, staring at where I took a big chunk out of it. “You could say it was good.” I said as I bent down and grabbed my laptop out of my bag and placing it on the table. I opened it and turned it on waiting for the menu to appear on my screen. “Claudia?” I asked my maid. I loved her name it reminded me of someone who would be mean and fearful, but she was the kindest person I’ve met.

“Yes, Mrs. Seramea?” She asked looking up from the dishes. Whenever she appeared there, I have no clue but oh well.

I stared at my background of my computer, seeing me in the middle and Saamoki Mai, Naomi, and Chime surrounding me in the park. “Do you think I’m pretty?” I asked running my fingers over my keyboard staring into space.

“Nope, you’re but ugly!” My little sister, Dailia, said as she walked into the kitchen pushing my laptop down over my hands. She was the meanest little snot I’d ever met. She was just in Middle school, but she knew how to push my buttons and get me irritated. She grabbed a banana from the bowl on the counter and sat across from me. “I mean, have you seen yourself in the mirror?” She asked peeling her banana and taking a bite.

“Now that is enough, Dailia. Seramea didn’t do anything to you. Have some respect.” Claudia said as she walked to the table and dropped Dailia’s lunch right next to her on the table and pointed at her, scolding her.

“Yea, so shut up Dail!” I argued back. I breathed deeply trying to calm down so I wouldn’t have a freak out.

“Mrs. Seramea, you are beautiful. Why do you ask?” Claudia asked sitting in the chair next to me. Claudia wasn’t a maid, she was more than that. She was like family. A mother I should say, mom is always gone so Claudia has to watch over me and Dailia. Dad ran out on us when I was 3 when Dailia was just born. He ran off with his secretary and never came back. Mom was so upset, and quit her job taking over a new job as president of a huge designing company. That’s why she’s hardly ever home and we are stuck with 2 maids and 2 butlers-Claudia, Carmen, Grady, and Shin.

“Well, I can’t seem to find the right guy for me. It’s just that, every guy I find they want something from me. I want someone who will love me for me and not for sex.” I said as I just gave up on my laptop and turned it off. There was no point in getting on it when I had to leave for school in ten minutes.

“Oh Mrs. Seramea. You’ll find the right person. You’re just a first year, you have a while to find the right guy.” She said as she placed her hand on mine smiling into my eyes.

“Ahem,” Carmen cleared her throat getting our attention. “The limo is here for you girls.” She said as she turned back into the lobby of the house and walking to the door where Grady held the door open.

“Well, we better get going.” I said standing up and hugging Claudia goodbye. I grabbed my laptop from the table and placed it in my bag before heading to the limo.

You’ll find the right person. That kept running through my mind, over and over. Will I really find the right guy. I love Kaoru, but he has tons of girls falling over him and Hikaru. There was no way they would be together.

“Seramea, are you ok?” Saamoki asked interrupting my train of thought.

“Huh?” I shook my head out of thought and looked around having four pair of eyes staring at me. “Oh, yea I was just thinking about something someone said earlier. What were we talking about?”

“We were asking you when you wanted to go back to the Host Club.” Chime asked as she popped her hands in boredom.

The other girls nodded their heads in agreement. They were so annoying. We just went there yesterday, isn’t that enough? Sure we can come back tomorrow. That’s right I told them that we could come back. All of that stuff that happened this morning made me forget. “Now, if you guys want.”

“Yeah!” they all said together as they jumped up in excitement.

I shook my head and stood up, following them into the hallways. Good thing its Lunch time. That’s really the only time we have that we can visit the Host Club, but if it means me seeing Kaoru and the others being happy as well, then I don’t have a problem with it.

“Hey Tamaki, we’re back again today.” Saamoki said as she approached him after me and the other girls went to our hosts.

“Welcome back, my princess.” Tamaki said as he guided Saamoki to sit by him on the couch provided for them.

“So how was your day Tamaki?” Saamoki asked folding her hands in her lap.

“Saamoki usually never acts nice, so why is she so nice and polite around him? Oh well it’s nice to see her other form.” I said leaning towards Mai trying to keep it quiet.

“It got better as soon as you walked through those doors, my dear. How about some tea for the lovely maiden? Haruhi, tea please?” Tamaki asked snapping his fingers again.

Saamoki hated when people demanded other people like that. She never thought it was right.

“No, No. I’ll do it, it will be my pleasure.” She said getting up and grabbing the tray from Haruhi who already had it prepared and just started walking over near them. She turned around with the tray and started walking back, when someone pulled their chair out from in front of her. Saamoki’s foot got caught on the chair leg making her drop the tray of tea and fall on the ground. She fell right on the puddle of tea and glass making a shard of the tea pot ramming right in her arm. “OW!” She screamed in pain rolling on the floor holding her arm.

“Saamoki!” I yelled standing up and rushing towards her falling on my knees right next to her.

Everyone stood as well in shock and some had tears in their eyes. I don’t see why they never met her, at least I don’t think. Tamaki, Kyouya, and Mori ran towards us, Tamaki bending down next to her.

“Someone needs to take her to the infirmary!!” Chime yelled trying to hold back tears in her eyes.

“I will.” I said as I stood up and started to pick her up before Tamaki interrupted me.

“No. She is my guest, I will take her.” He insisted as he grabbed her unhurt arm and picked her up wedding style. “Mori-Senpai, the door please?”

Mori rushed to the door of the music room and opened it for him as he rushed down the hall.

Tamaki never stopped running. His hair blowing everywhere with each step.

Saamoki couldn't believe what happened and stared at the blonde's face in confusion. Hoping he would never let go she heard his voice in a panicked tone.

“Don’t worry princess, I won’t let anything harm you.” He said as he approached the infirmary and sat her on the papered covered bed in the nursing station.

“How may I help you-“ the nurse stopped in mid-step when she saw Saamoki, her hair and dress covered in tea and blood running up and down her arm and getting on her dress as well. “Oh my, don’t worry, Honey. We will take a look at your arm and clean you up.”
