The Host Club's Favorite

Chapter 2 - We need to meet the Host Club

I reached the Cafeteria-smiling when I saw a big group huddled around my table. It was my friends, waiting for me. They always worry about me or each other, whether it was me going to the bathroom or one of them wanting to jump off a bridge.

“Hey guys!” I yelled with my right hand in the air waving it franticly and running towards our table.

XXXX

All of them were speechless as I finished telling them my story, while the shortest one, Mai slapped her hands on the table and stood up in anger. “I’m going to find those bastards and kill them with my bare hands!”

Chime, the hyper active and shy type always has to calm Mai down because Mai might kill something if we don’t watch her. Chime grabbed Mai’s shoulders and pushed back in her seat. “Now, just calm down. We all would love to strangle them, but we can’t. We don’t even know their names.” She said sitting down by Mai and handing her a cookie.

“It’s fine. Hikaru and Kaoru said they would take care of them if I see them again or they try anything. All I have to do is point them out and they would take care of them.” I said smiling.

“Whoa, I wish I had someone who would do that for me, but most of these boys here at Ouran are faggots.” The tallest out of the group called. Her name was Saamoki and she was the most fearful out of us all. If you got her mad, I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t come back the rest of the day, or week as a matter of fact.

There was one more person, Naomi. She was usually really quiet and just usually does what we all do. She was the youngest out of us all, but only by months. “So how did you meet Hikaru and Kaoru?” Naomi asked leaning across the table.

“Well, I’m the only one in class 1 A in our group. They are in the same class as me and Haruhi Fujioka.” I said as I sipped at my tea and placed it down in front of me on the table. “Did you know that they’re in a Host Club?”

“I-I want to check it out sometime.” Chime said getting nerves. She wasn’t sure what kind of Host club it was, but at this point it sounded awesome.

“What kind of Host Club is it?” Mai asked scooting near me in enthusiasm. She had to know every detail of things or she wasn’t satisfied and will keep pestering me until I would tell her.

I smiled at the question knowing that they would love the idea and run towards it as soon as I was done explaining. “Well, it’s about a group of boys that have too much time on their hands that entertain girls with too much time on their hands.” I said taking another sip of tea.

“Oh, that’s cool. I think we should all go to the Host Club.” Saamoki said. “What I can’t figure out is how did you figure that out? Did they tell you what they do?”

“Not really.”

I leaned over my desk to my left, tugging at his jacket sleeve. “Kaoru,” I asked as I pulled my hand back to my person.

He turned his head facing me with his perfect gold eyes. “Yea, Seramea?”

I could hardly spit out my question. I didn’t even have a question; I just wanted to talk to him-to hear his voice. “Um…What is that host club you always talk about? Well, I mean what do they do?”

Kaoru turned in his seat to get more comfortable, with a smile plastered on his face. “Good thing the teacher is out of the room.”

I never realized the teacher was gone otherwise I wouldn’t have whispered. “Oh.”

Kaoru chuckled. “Well, it’s about a group of boys who have too much time on their hands that entertain girls with too much time on their hands. As in, we make them feel good about themselves.” He explained smirking.

I started to blush a little and I tried to hide it. “Thanks, maybe I will check it out sometime.” I said turning in my seat so he wouldn’t see me blush.

“So how did you figure out?” Naomi asked with an eyebrow raised.

“I heard it from a…uh…girl I passed in the hallways. I overheard her talking to another girl and…you know how it goes.”

“Ah, we should go check it out.” Saamoki demanded standing up from the table and pushing her chair back.

"You want to go now?" I asked as I stood up with my hands landing on the table.

“Why is it a problem?” Chime asked while the rest of the group stood up and started heading out.

“Uh, no you go without me. I’m going to stay and eat.” I said grabbing an apple from the middle of the table and sat back in my sit.

Mai sighed and grabbed my elbow, making me stand up back up. “You are going; you have to show us the way.” She said dragging me out of the Cafeteria.

Why? I don’t want to go back! Hikaru and Kaoru might think I got in another situation. I just sighed and gave in and made Mai let go of me so I could walk on my own.
