I think DA is a good place to start. I mean sure its really really hard to build up a good fan base at first. But its worth it if you really like taking photos.
(I'm so lazy over there I have like 100 photos sitting on my computer that need postiong. XD)

Aren't they great??!? Storm clouds are probably my favorite things in the world (but not the storms that come with them).
Haha, I didn't invent the rules of the universe, silly silly! :))) You should totally start a photography world, and we can just gawk and grin at each others' photos.
Thank you so much!!! :) I took this the other day after a huge batch of tornadoes hit around the area I live in. Luckily my neighborhood just got strong winds and no damage; we just got a truckload of awesome apocalypse clouds, haha. It was truly an awesome sight, because they were literally just down the street from my house.

(actually they're just some epic thunderheads from a tornado we had a couple of days ago)

Oooh that's so cool! I've always wanted to try darkroom. :) I guess I have fun with digital because I get to mess with all different sorts of filters on Photoshop (that I don't normally use). But I can see your point, haha!

I love storm clouds~ :D This looks beautiful! I'm also starting up with photography (I got a pretty neat camera a couple of months back and I've been experimenting. It wouldn't be cheap if I decided to make a world for it too, would it? ;-;)
This is a beautiful start! Wow, amazing what a few simple beginner tools will help one accomplish. Where did you get this pic? I mean, was this right around the corner where you live?! Beautiful!
I think that's neat. I took a photography class over the summer four years ago, and I loved it. I really loved developing my own photos. (digital's just no fun, though you don't have to worry about it messing up as much)
