this is actually the start of a lolita outfit i'm working on. since i can't really afford legitimate lolita brands like baby the stars shine bright, angelic pretty, etc. i'm making my own outfit from bargins that i find. i got the shirt from target for $3 (it was on clearance) and i got the skirt from burlington coat factory for $10-also on clearance. the headband i got from claire's accessories for $1. i'm currently in the process of getting a petticoat from hot topic ($13 on clearance), and i have some arm warmers and stockings/boots/ cute jewelry/other accessories from various birthdays/hand-me-downs back at home. this is just what i have with me at college right now.
just call me a bargain hunter lolita! lol.
i'm also thinking about modifying the skirt and adding some ruffles to the shirt-maybe--my sewings skills are somewhat lacking, lol. i'm hoping to get all this stuff together so i can wear it into boston when i pick up my stuff for the anime expo this may.
