Yeah really, wanting to get better as an artist is something you’re going to go through your whole life. Stolen works does not equal skill or even fans. I wish they would stop being so damn shallow and follow their own path like the rest of us.
That explains why I missed it - I always cheat front page. Ooh, that's interesting, though. Wouldn't have guessed it was in that section but then again it was filled with Pikachu tracings last time I checked. I have a feeling on who it was though... Who was the user?
I just really wish the masses of newbies here would at least use their common sense more.

Those people are such idiots. It's just...insane really. I don't know why they would steal things like that, but you're right, it happens all the time! I don't know how they think they would get by and not be caught lol.

Yeah, if you suck at drawing then move your butt to get better. Submitting stolen work won’t make you a better artist. Plus the “praise” doesn’t even matter at the end of the day since you can’t even back it up.

Oh and I saw your contest entry and its quite wonderful. I have to make a proper comment before the day is over! :D
I usually get a sense of it somehow when I get a first look at it, and then look into it to see if my instincts are correct. I got to admit my instincts are dead on most of the time, but now-a-days I swear I get paranoid so I check more often. XD
But pretty much, the description shows more then the art itself sadly. :
I pretty much knew more then likely it’ll go under the bridge but I figured what the hell. *3* Luckily you took it down so it wasn’t in vain. XD Yeah, I’ll do that next time if I can’t find the original url.

To be honest if I see a good description, I believe the artwork is made by the user even if it isn't. But a breathtaking picture without any description, but often with a 'I LOVE THIS ANIME' text, then I get suspicious. Unfortunately, a 'this is ripped for sure' report with no link will most likely be ignored or the mod will actually search for the link her/himself. But it depends on their free time.
If you find stuff like these, you can PM me, I'm the most otaku of mods so I'll be able to find the proof link, maybe XD;;
edit: oh, if it's about the Luxray fanart, I took care of it >D

AHHHH! I know! Do these people actually feel PROUD of themselves when they get favs and hugs for stolen work? WTF? They need to grow a pair, and submit their own work like the rest of us.
