I hate that too. I remember one time I did my paper but on the day due I couldn’t find it. Well when it was “send all your crap in before school ends and pray it will raise you grade” time, I found it in the BACK of the binder the whole semester. OH LIFE YOU SUCK SO HARD SOMETIMES.
I can rip though 20 in a short time. I just I’ll buy two packs for now on. Or better yet just buy a small sketch book and have godly huge cards. The paper quality of fan boy’s is pretty good I really like it. I wasn’t sure because the packaging is like “OMG MANGA PAPER FOR REAL MANGA ARTIST COME BUY 12 YEAR OLDS”. When I use the copics it was thick enough that the markers didn’t bleed though and the paper is really smooth. I might buy more of their paper in the future.
Yeah, the book is pretty sweet, I wonder if there are more books like that out now.

Uhhhh practice? Just kidding but seriously what I did was copy and sketched BJD’s, which was funny because you had a world post about them. At the time I wasn’t found of still life, “celebrities”, or drawing real people in general. But seeing how realistic BJD looks with that magical touch I was able to enjoy practicing realism. I can stay on the top of my head a good piece of advice is to practice at least once a day. Also you don’t have to draw the whole face. You can just sketch the eyes or the nose, whatever. I think that helps me a lot these days since I’m lazy. I hope that helps a bit. ^__^0

I saw a book on atc’s in the art store too. It was a lot of multi media cards too. Very antique and cool looking. I might buy it and try out some of the techniques that they show you.

Yeah, it’s like the spice of life got washed off me today. XD Even when I was outside in the down town area I still felt lifeless among all the busyness of the city. It was just really odd. Nothing could possibly get my attention today.
Aww, don’t count yourself out like that! Even if it’s not what you wanted its not failing but learning. :3 When I feel stuck artistically I start doodling and drawing random things that I like. I just start pouring my heart out till I feel better, whether is comes out weird or not. XD Maybe you can try that?
ATC’s are artist trading cards. You draw on them and trade them among artists. It’s a really cool idea. Unknown Rumors is the one that discovered it. In fact I saw a book about today at Blicks. I though it was funny because I never saw it before even though it’s been around for years. I did make one to today. I should post that in the morning as well. Would you want to trade with me?
Tell me about. There where a lot of good ones too but I wanted to save THAT shopping trip for another day. XD Oh, the art store that I went to is Blicks, the one in downtown Philadelphia area. The art store is right down the street from it too. I love it down there, there’s lot to see and do. Have you been there before? One more thing, I went to this awesome Japanese spot and got some shrimp Kakisoba. It’s the best thing I ever eaten. That place makes the best Japanese food. Everything is fresh! That is in the train station underground, right near city hall.
OMG so true, borders use to have all kinds of manga but in the last few years it’s gotten worst. Most of the manga is now “fan service”, “seen before”, “armature”, “crappy” or base of some movie or show. I even saw a twilight manga! I knew one was coming out but when I saw it for myself I was kind of floored. The art inside is pretty good though. At least they got someone that can draw to do it.
I use to go to the KOP borders a lot when I was still in school. They had the biggest selection yet, but the last few times I went that all changed. It’s gotten smaller and they got rid of the older mangas. It’s so sad to see this happening to manga. It’s not all bad though, there are good titles still out. It just would be awesome to get some descendents into darkness manga again. I only got one and I love to read it all the time. The artist is truly amazing too, I admire her style. :)
Oh, I know this manga that I think you will like a lot it’s called “tenju jin” its by a BL artist (even though this stories got tons of hints) its wonderfully crafted piece of art. She’s my favorites right now. She did another manga calls “if I was a butterfly” (or something like that) but I never had the chance to buy it. I did read it and fell in love with it. Check them out if you can, you won’t be disappointed!

The ATCs at my Hobby Lobby only came in packs of 20 too, but they were three dollars. :U It looks like they only come in packs of twenty. I found another site that had packs of 36 but they were about five dollars. You can find ATCs on E-Bay too though for about two or three dollars for 50 cards, but i don't know about the shipping for them. >:

Aw, well yaoi = <333 Which art store do you go to? And what book stores? Borders used to be so great with manga, but their selection ( at least at the Exton mall) has really dwindled. The KoP mall...in the one section of it right above the Levi's store, that one is pretty big. Unfortunately I'm looking FOR the yaoi, and they don't have as much! Lol. XD
