Yeah, that’s what I want to hear! Never give up the fight. There is always an extra step you can go up in anything you do to truly stand out as your own! I think people are too hung up on lulu’s popularity. If a less popular artist did the same thing I bet it wouldn’t have been a big of deal. I think the “popularity” factor really injects an untouchable factor to almost the smallest thing someone makes. Just because she made an entry doesn’t mean “no one can possibly out due her” that thinking just makes no sense. I hope people get over that feeling. There is no reason you shouldn’t even try, just having fun drawing it should be enough. :3 Your so welcome though. I don’t want anyone to feel that way! :D

Haha wow, sounds like quite the picture! You seem to put in a lot of work into it as well. I would love to see it even if you’re not going to enter it in the contest.

You don’t have to include labels in the entry at all or anything. You can just explain in the comments. The very least that you’ll need is a weapon or power and something explaining it. Everything else can be as normal as you want it to be. :3

I already did in my sketch book. It was so much fun experimenting with her face. I love drawing her jacket too. I need a lot of practice putting more details in clothes so it was a nice session. I think I’ll post them up tomorrow morning so other people have time to join in the raffle. I might be doing this for a while since I want to practice drawing.

Quick question though, on your ref, you included labels and arrows and such pointing to what all of the items were...do we have to include that straight on the pic? Or can we just explain what the character is wearing/using in the caption?

Lol I'll be taking advantage of my sketchbook and tablet while I can over the break before they are taken away. I'll explain why later, but for now, just know that I'll probably be hosting one soon ^^ I don't know if many people would enter...it's not like I'm really that popular of an artist or anything, but it's not a popularity contest, just something I would like to do ^^

Aww thank you! Those things are like my personal hell or something. When I was little I would freak out when I see those things. The baby ones are not as bad since they look like a blurred line. BUT the full grown ones that’s a whole other ball park. (refers to the pictures) Yeah… Just yeah… XD

Don’t scrap the idea all together! You can use what you like as a weapon/power as well. It doesn’t have to be what mediums you use. You can use any combination of things for your entry! Go all out, that’s what I want. XD I bet the picture looks great too.

Don’t let that get you down! The things you use doesn’t have to be the items it self. You can morph them into anything you want. You can have tablet hover skates. A pencil sword or magical wand. Whatever it might be! I know people must be really intimidated by luluseason’s entry but it doesn’t mean all the good ideas have been token or it means that that’s an instant 1st prize winner. The contest isn’t how good your drawing skills are but flat out creativity. Anyone can make their tablet a hover board and have pencil guns. I really want to see something I wouldn’t have thought of in 10,000 years. That’s what I’m looking for. So all is not lost! There are definitely plenty of untapped resources for everyone to discover.

I love the art raffle idea and its pretty fun to do! I can draw other people’s characters without worrying about the other end of it like an art trade. I can just be nice and social with other artists. I would love to see you have an art raffle, plenty people will enter too! Oh noes, that’s horrible to have your sketchbook token away right after break. V-V How you suppose to de-stress after school starts.

I would love to trade with you! I think its great idea for artists to get together more personally. I also have a bunch of trinkets I can just get away to people since I don’t plan on selling them plus I need the room for other things! XD

Truly-chan!! I'm on Spring Break so I'm enjoying myself while I can! So far it's been great ^^ I'm glad to hear you're so happy(despite your little...or not so little, visitor xDD)~

Of course your challenge would do well, silly!! It's amazing!~ So fun and creative~ I'm sure you'll get lots of creative entries! ^^ I was working on my entry yesterday for about 5 hours but then I thought it didn't really meet any of the criteria...all it was made of was basically things I love to draw xDD It didn't really show a whole lot about what I use as an artist though, so that kinda failed xDD
I saw Luluseason's entry and she pretty much took a lot of my ideas already T__T Tablet hoverboard, mechanical pencil guns...*sigh* It didn't go so well...so I'm gonna scrap that and maybe try something more creative. >.<
