Hm, well, I joined art class when I was 13 in school, but at that time, we only did simple thing like organic/symmetry shapes and art theories and so on, we only did a few coloring. I took art classes for 5 years in school, but I didn't really follow the class and only took the exam when I was 16 and 17. I've only draw nature/ scenery paintings when I was in art class, and I never ever color a human image before.
Now I'm almost 19 and I just started colouring anime in March. I don't know why did I suddenly choose to do so, but up until now I'm still learning how to master water-coloring perfectly.
Hm...well, I can't say that I started coloring in high school, since I've been doodling on my story books since I was just a little boy. We also have doodling time in nursery and primary school, so I always do my best at drawing and coloring at that time, using pencil color. Long story huh?
Oh, and I remember I once painted black colour on my grandparents' potret when I was little... at that time, it was raining. Hey, I like this question of yours, you make me remember so many things that I almost forgot....:3
