This is totally insane. I don't know how you can really prove "no human involvement" in a miscarriage anyway - it opens a huge can of worms.

And it's kind of ironic, in the sense that miscarriages occur all the time - nature is very familiar with aborting fetuses for various physiological reasons. Maybe we should go to the extent of putting Mother Nature on trial, perhaps?

Unfortunately people like that give decent people a bad name. The guy is such an idiot to even think such a law is a good idea. If that were to ever pass so many children would never be born if the mother couldn't prove there was no human involvement in the miscarriage.

I could theoretically even be one since I'm pretty sure my own mother had some miscarriages before I and my fellow siblings were born.

Seriously, what is wrong with this man? My sister had a miscarriage and all of us still mourn that baby boy to this day. My pastor's wife had three miscarriages before she was able to conceive and give birth to their daughter. I just can't even comprehend this.

The guy is pretty clearly a misogynist. "I've got an idea! Let's criminalize women for a biological SNAFU they have no control over! But let's make sure to do it after they've already been horribly traumatized by the event."

Don't feel bad, we all have our morons. Here is Utah we have one who is trying to change the law so anytime you are admitted to the Emergency Room at the hospital, if you are on any prescribed painkiller at all, then it's listed as an overdose.

So our moron is trying to presume that he knows more than the doctors that treat you just because you may be on a painkiller. Who cares if you have a broken leg, heart attack or are in a car accident... if you take prescribed painkillers the only reason you'd be there is for an overdose!

So yeah... that's one idiot I'd like to see out of office here. He's not a damn doctor after all.
