Oh it does. I can recall thinking that being this age would be so terrible, but then you get here and you realize all the good times in addition to the bad that you've had, made it quite the journey.
It's hard to feel jaded or disappointed when you've had plenty of great things happen in your life. I'm sure I'll have another 39 years of fun too. :)
And that's exactly what my avatar is supposed to suggest. XD That I'm telling anyone who tries to give me cake today, that it's a lie. It was basement cat's idea, completely. I just found the image and made it after he explained it.
I like it a lot though so I'm going to end up keeping it instead of only having a different one for the day. Heh.
