Yeah, I used to do that, but I kind of took after KPC who subbed back to people if they made an attempt to talk to her. It made sense to me anyway, but I do think it's good to sub back to them sometimes to at least try and get to know them ^^ But the only down fall I feel is that my inbox would like get flooded o-O

I sub to people who sub me back in the hopes they'll want to get to know me. But, that doesn't always happen.

-_- I know what you mean. *sigh* But it seems like as time went on, subbing became more like a contest to see how many you can get rather than actually subbing because you like their art or cause their your friends. It seems like that's the only thing some people on here care about.

But, yes, people don't comment much anymore these days and I have over 250 subscribers.

Aww that's sad. I have noticed not many people comment, or its that just because I have little to no subscribers. Though, not sure how long you have had this posted. But I am the first to comment. I find that odd for a blog/art site.
