Protecting Her: Chapter One: Nothing Else Matters
My feet hit the cold floor in a fury of fast paced movements.... I had to get out of there.... NOW....
He was coming............ and he was gonna kill me.......This was my last chance if I was going to save her from his ways..... I may have failed before , but that was not going to stop me now.... I CANNOT FAIL THIS TIME , I MUST SAVE HER.
Wellllll.... I guess now isn't the time for introductions , but seeing as though this could be my last few moments alive.... My name is Mary , or as most know me as the Almighty Mary13. I was born on Planet 13 to the king and queen, I was their second born , my sister, Meikara was their first. My whole planet is full of creatures that rival the humans on Earth, we may look alike but we think on such a higher level , that humans cannot possibly try to understand. But there is one other difference then our minds , we also have very unique abilities, sorta like superpowers. Like take me for instance , I have the power of thoughts over reality , meaning that whatever I think can become real, it also means I can have any power I want..... But like they say in the movies with great power comes great responsibility..... even though at times I like to have a little fun with my abilities , I am very serious about my job...... although sometimes I wonder why I was cursed with such a life........ I guess because if I didn't do it no one else would.....
A Sudden explosion from behind me , shakes me out of my thoughts.... I look back and...... my eyes meet the eyes of.......... him ....... Omegus, the fifteenth tailed demon fox....... [ FYI this is my boyfriend's character not mine ]
I suddenly take off at an inhuman speed , I was definitely not losing her to him..... My footsteps echoed down the seemingly endless hallway....... I had to get away..... away from him, away from everything.... even myself......
He suddenly throws a fireball and ignites the section of hallway in front of me, cutting me off from the other side.... he knows how much I hate fire.......
Insane laughter pulls me out of my thoughts ... and I slowly turn to face my rival....knowing that trying to back track would get me no where....
"You Have Something of mine.... Child " , he growled....his voice could make even the strongest of men flinch..... I suddenly growl , reminded of the unconscious blonde in my arms.... " Give my wife back.... Now...." , He continued, his eyes never leaving mine...
I suddenly look down and meet the closed eyes of Rosalina , and even though her eyes were closed , I could still feel the stare of her deep blue eyes.... A stare so powerful that it could penetrate the soul easily. " Never... Not now or ever", I growl , not ready to give up that easily... I wasn't going to let him do to her what he did to the last star queen, Rosania......he pretty much killed her.....
" Very well child...... I see that I'm going to have to show you what I do to thieves " , his strong voice , once again broke my thoughts........ I had no idea what I was getting myself into , but I calmly sat Rosalina down , and took a stance ..... if I had to fight to keep her from him... so be it.....
He laughed, " Foolish Child , do you honestly think you can win?" , he questioned as he walked slowly towards me, reminding me of how a predator stalks its prey..... " I don't just think .... I know I will " , I determinately spoke, ready for whatever was coming ....... He began taunting me, which was a bad move in his part, since it gave me time to think...... which I'm very good at..... I first remembered that he was two tails higher then my inner demon... so I knew Juusan didn't stand a chance ...... so her powers were out of question.....but I do remember that Juusan had told me I was even stronger then her , so my powers were definitely strong enough..... but I was in no shape to fight him..... so I needed to lead him on... make him think I'm at my A game.... then I pull a distraction , and that's when I make my escape with Rosalina..... All in all a pretty fool proof plan , that was unless he figured it out... I mean he wasn't my rival for nothing right?
I was snapped out of my thoughts when he came speeding towards me and tackled me to the ground, I then shot back up and slammed my fist straight into his chest , sending him flying back through the wall he came from..... I began to think this was too easy , But his sudden roar , and chakra flare , alerted me that I was in one hell of a fight...... He quickly got back up and slammed me into a wall , producing a cracking sound.....He began to grin that awful fox grin, which was quickly wiped clean off as a sudden kick to the jaw sent him flying up into the air , and then another swift hit knocked him straight into the ground...... My healing powers quickly got to work , as I stood watching him get back up .... it was no good , my hits were taking little to no effect while I was this weak..... I needed a quick escape if I wanted to save Rosalina....... then it hit me , literately, his fist collided with my faced sending me straight into a fire extinguisher that conveniently hung on the wall.... Why hadn't I seen this before, it was perfect......
I swiftly began to spray him with it , making him have to wipe at his eyes , straining to see, then I picked Rosalina back up and made a fast jump over the flames , and throwing the fire extinguisher behind me , hearing a thump made me feel accomplished, hopefully it hit him straight in the face...... maybe it would give him brain damage...... but it would only be an improvement in his case....
As I rounded my last flight of stairs , knowing he was more then likely right behind me , I headed straight for the parking garage , where my custom black and green mustang was waiting ...... this building really needed an elevator....
I quickly opened the passenger door and gently sat Rosalina down..... I then proceeded back to the drivers side and got in...I started the car and sped right out of there , rounding the curves I had to take to get down to the first level.....
When I finally hit straight pavement , I slammed on the acceleration........ I knew exactly where I was headed......
I slowly put the car into autopilot , letting the car drive itself....... and slowly turn my head to face Rosalina...... I knew that there was a long road ahead of us.... and I knew she'd want answers when she awoke .... but I knew that I'd survive as long as she was safe ....... nothing else matters...... I just had to protect her ...... I couldn't lose her ....... not now or ever....... there was still so much to say....... and so much to tell........ no I couldn't lose her.......she must stay safe ........ at all costs........
I slowly shut my eyes...... blinking them one last time to make sure she was still there....... then I slowly..... let the darkness sink in........ my thoughts from earlier sank in ....... she must be safe...... nothing else matters....... as long as she's safe..... I'll survive.....
Nothing else matters........... as long as she's safe..............

If you have every wondered about only one superpower you could have then this is the story for you. It's got life , love , action , adventure , and plenty of adrenaline packed seens... YOU CAN NEVER DEFECT THE ALMIGHTYNESS OF THE MARY13 :P by the way my sensei or Courtney is helping me with my art , she is like the best anime artist I know ( no offence to others ) and I'm really good at the moment , and hopefully I stay good at it ............ My fanfics are doing well.......... still thinking of ideas for Mary13 origins ............. You can thank my Boyfriend Tyler for the delay........... he keeps coming up with new stuff ..... go figure........ anyway........

Losing Myself
Wellllllllllllll one of my many annoying friends ( we call each other stuff all the time , so no yelling at me ) HopeDragon as you guys know her , or Derek as I know her, Messed up my head yesterday and today, she made my Mary13ness disappear..........She said it was to teach me a lesson........ don't get me wrong I usually know when I deserve punishment of some sort ( don't get any ideas ) but this ........... this is cruel............ I mean Mary13 is another side of me , a much cooler side might I add........... and she made her disappear.......... and told me I had to let my * mind * search for her and my other so called * voices * ......... talk about annoying.......... then to top it off , she invades my * mind * and messes with my head........... talk about weird to the extreme ( I'm not trying to be mean or cruel, I'm just speaking how I feel , no offence Derek or should I say HopeDragon ) But still I think it's cruel since Mary13 is apart of me and Derek decided I should be punished for my overconfident attitude , which apparently to her I didn't deserve, but still I didn't deserve what she did , so intill I get my head together again ............
