Chapter 4
Black*star and Lance got of the bike and Lance turned off the ignition. “We have to get up on the roof” said Tsubaki still in weapon form. Lance and Black*star walked over to the wall and inspected it. “Give me a boost” said Lance pointing to a small fire escape on the wall. Black*star nodded and cupped his hands ready. Lance stepped up on his hands and he lifted her up to the fire escape. As she grabbed hold of the railing he looked up and saw her underwear. He got a nose bleed but looked at the ground so that she wouldn’t notice. She stood on the Fire escape and looked over at Black*star. He smirked and ran up the wall. He grabbed the railing and hoisted himself up. “That was cool” remarked Lance. Black*star smirked. They climbed the ladder, Black*star first. They walked over to the glass sky light on the roof. “Can you hold me so I don’t fall?” asked Lance. “Sure” replied Black*star. He grabbed her legs so she could stay on the cement frame. She looked down through the glass sky light. “I can see at least 15 evil soul’s down there” said Lance. “Can you move me closer to the glass?” she asked. Black*star nodded. He moved her up a bit. He could feel the strain and his hands were becoming sweaty. “Hold on Star boy” she said. “I can’t” he said in a strained voice. His hands slipped causing Lance to fall through the sky light. Black*star grabbed hold of her leg. She was dangling over the group of evil soul. He could feel his body being pulled through the sky light. He eventually fell through due to lance’s weight. They fell to the floor and landed on each other forming an ‘X’. “Hey guys wazzup” Lance said to the group of evil souls surrounding them. “Great blown our cover again Black*star” said Tsubaki with a sigh. “Need souls” the evil souls said in unison. Black*star and Lance scrambled to their feet. Lance pulled out her gun and Black*star pulled out Tsubaki. “I thought your gun had some kinks?” said Black*star. “Only for soul resonance, the rest is fine” replied Lance. She shot an evil soul in the head. Black*star cut threw another evil soul. They kept doing this until there were no enemies left. Tsubaki stared at all of the floating kishin eggs. Lance started to poke one of them. She gave it a curious look and licked it. “They don’t have any taste” she remarked. Tsubaki giggled and absorbed the kishin eggs. “We better get back to the DWMA and report to Shinigami-sama” said Tsubaki. Lance and Black*star nodded in agreement. Black*star took Lance’s hand and led her to the bike. “I’m too tired, you drive” said Lance yawning. “I don’t know how to drive” said Black*star. “I’ll teach you the basics” said Lance. Black*star hoped on the bike and Lance sat behind him. “This is the throttle and brake” she said putting her hand over his and moving the throttle and brake as she said their name. “That’s the foot pegs” she said as she moved Black*star’s leg so they were on the pegs. He blushed and nodded. “That’s all you really need to know” she said as she turned on the ignition. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his back. “Tsubaki back in weapon form” he said. Tsubaki nodded and turned to weapon form. Black*star placed her in the holster. Then they were off.
