It is weird that you can feel tired fomr not actually doing anything. Not sure what's up with that, but I get it all the time (might be the late nights too though).
Heh, it'd be awsome for your Shinsengumi group to join. We could use them as a secret police force XD
I often find that those days where you do next to nothing are the days that tire you out the most. Counter-intuitive, but almost makes sense at the same time...
