Laceration was always one of my favorite evil sounding painful words.

Eviscerate is a deliciously evil sounding word, but exsanguinate... That one's gold. Not as gruesome to die by, but it sure does have a nice ring to it.

Axes and swords both have their strong points. In general, axes tend to be better for spiking because of the unconditional deep wounds they can cause or for AoE damage with Cyclone Axe and Triple Chop while swords are better for more constant pressure. A sword warrior with Dragon Slash and getting double adrenaline from something like "For Great Justice!" has the highest single-character DPS in the game, I think.

Ahhhh . . . I never got that. I always preferred swords because I liked bleeding damage.
Axes probably hurt more in the long run, though . . . ah well.

I think I've played too much Guild Wars. I immediately think of this whenever I see the word eviscerate.
