Smaller spiders are rinse-able if you just have the faucet running for a few minutes before turning on the shower head, then put a strainer over the drain to make sure it stays down. Though I just try to squish the things now, since making them drown to death seems more cruel. *cough* >_>;;

...What the hell kinda showers are you people using?!? My only problem is hair. I have a lot of it. A lot of it falls out. It gets stuck in the drain. I have to clean it.

At first I read Tuesday as a Roasting Guest Post. That might have been more fun.

I can't say I've ever had that problem before. If I did, though, I'd probably just ignore it or watch it carefully until I got out so I could catch and release it (I've no qualms with these particular guys).

It sounds like you'd be better than cosplay than I am right now. Some are just talented like that, which makes the rest of us jealous as hell.
What's even worse in the shower: spiders. You don't want to squish 'em and get the guts all over the place, but at the same time can't rinse them down the drain because they'll crawl right back up again to repeat the process. That is the true danger of the shower stall.
