Why are some games and slots in social casinos so popular?

Hi, I have a question. Why do some games in social casinos become extremely popular while others are forgotten? Lately, I've been visiting different lobbies more often, and I've noticed that there's always a "top" section that everyone opens, even if there are dozens of similar options right next to it. For example, the "Hot" section on Luckparty always features the very similar games at the top - you can browse here to se yourself. I thought it was just a coincidence, but it seems there’s more to it than that.
