Claymore is one of my all-time favorite anime EVER. You'll really love it. I also love Escaflowne...jeez, that was one of my first anime I ever saw. ^^; I was in middle school...so uh, that was *thinks* almost 8 or 9 years ago?? D: *feels old* Hmm...I've been watching Basquash, too. I also liked that episode~ The one or 2 before it weren't so great, lol. But that one made up for it. I can't believe they still can't tell that Rie Kugimiya's character [name is escaping me] is a girl. Hahaa..
Lots of spoilers for Phantom! I've only seen the first ep. I gotta get back to watching it.
The preview for the next FMA got me down big time, since I know what's coming. All I can say is bring tissue next week. You're going to need it. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I should be looking forward to the next one.
I watched Claymore last year. It's a good, solid series I found. But I have to admit that I'm not a particular fan, as it just doesn't seem to do anything new or exciting. But it's solid.

I was thinking of starting Claymore for that same reason. My anime load has been shoujo-heavy lately. ^^
