Faldio's one of those characters that could entertain you for hours. Snarky and brash, but just smooth enough to make you forgive him for whatever social boundary he just barged through. Awesome. XD

Well, that's more what I meant, haha. There's the one incident that's popularized as the excuse for war, but the root causes are much deeper and go back much further in history.
Not going to pass much judgment right now, because I have few details to go on, but whatever the reasons were for the war beyond an accidental shooting (saying that spurred the Ishbal War is probably akin to saying Archduke Ferdinand's assassination started World War I)
It's actually kind of a similar case. From what I understand, tensions had been building for a long time in both instances and the incidents that everyone claims "started" the wars were both pretty much the straw breaking the camel's back instead of the entire cause.
I'd say the same about the invasion of Poland, but that one was an actual act of war.
And yeah, Lust is excellent in this one. Better animated than the first series, IMO, and I don't remember her being nearly this endearingly sinister in the manga.

Hm, I was just noticing that Higashi no Eden wasn't around, and it's already Friday. Let's hope it'll pop up some time today.
I've never watched Zeta Gundam, but I've seen Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, which sets up the scenario for Zeta. If you haven't seen it you probably should.
