Haha, I usually have a decent eye for movies (what I can say -- I know my tastes through and through), so I don't often run into raging disappointments. Next time I do, though, I'll dedicate the rant to you. ;P
(Really, though, it's more fun for me to write about movies I like. Makes me think about what I liked about 'em, and then lots of happy memories float through my head, and everyone is happy happy joy joy.)
EDIT: Just for fun, the movies I have seen this year that I didn't like, or that disappointed me:
-- Live Free or Die Hard
-- Time Bandits
-- Hollywoodland (slightly)
-- Renaissance
-- Scanners
-- The Professional (still like it, but I like it less each time I see it)
-- He Was a Quiet Man
-- Adam's Rib
8/125 -- not too shabby. :P

The best part of that scene is when Peter and Ellie are laughing it up, and then the hotel owner comes into the room, and they immediately switch back into angry Southern couple mode, with Peter shouting, "QUIT BAWLING! QUIT BAWLING!" I was dying with laughter when that happened.
The Walls of Jericho gag is funny because you would never see that in a movie today. People would just roll their eyes lol.
I'm putting His Girl Friday and 2 Days in Paris on my list of "Movies to Watch Over Break". They sound pretty fun.
And also, I LOVE THAT SCENE TOO. And I really enjoy the Walls of Jericho gag. Anything that can incorporate Biblical comedy so smoothly is pretty awesome, in my book. :D

I really want to see you just rip a movie to shreds now. It's been all happy-laudy-da lately, I wants some disappointment!
