Well that's good to hear.
I know I've been attracted to staring X/1999 the manga as well, but the manga is unfinished whereas the anime apparently has an ending, so I'm thinking I'll eventually go with the latter.
lol, ironically enough, I got exactly what I wanted with ep20 (very awesome Sorata/Arashi episode). I finished the series today -- I'll go over this in more detail next week, but overall X is a good series. Good action, mostly good characters, the story is exciting and there are some interesting themes (the whole fate dealie being the most prominent, of course). Not anything I'd say you should watch immediately, but there are far worse ways to spend your time.

Yeah, that's the problem with series that have tons of characters. If done well, it could be really interesting, but... yeah. :/
@Shin: I haven't seen the anime, but I guess I'll be lame and suggest reading the Tokyo Babylon manga... at least the first and last few volumes, if nothing else. (It's mostly episodic, with dribbles of plot here and there.)

Ooh, Tokyo Babylon is really good!! A classic!! <3 You should definitely see it. *nods* It's too short though, but eh. I just really remember one episode that was great...although it was good overall. So to answer your question, yes!
