Yeah, I like the list a lot, too -- the size is big enough where a lot of popular movies will get on the list (some I agree with, some I don't, of course), a lot of my favorites will get on the list and a lot of movies people have not seen will make it on. In all, 'tis a good thing Empire has done.
Never seen 300, Some Like it Hot, Braveheart, the Goonies, Gladiator and Casino Royale...? I'll tell ya, they're all different versions of epic.
I was fairly pleased with the list myself. The amount of Pixar, Miyazaki, Burton and Kurosawa pleased me. I mean, you ask a lot of people Stateside what they think about Miyazaki or Kurosawa and they'll either think you're sneezing or nuts. ^_^ Thanks for linking that in Chat last night.
