I tentatively agree with you regarding the identity of the first Slasher. It seems farfetched that it could be her, but there is still so much the series has yet to reveal about these characters, so we can't really assume anything (the latest episode kind of complicates things with the Celty's head plot, for instance).

However, what makes this more mysterious is that, as I point out in my post, there are clearly two different Slashers in the episode.
I noticed that too. One has a katana, the other a knife. One has short hair, the other long. I'm pretty certain the one who attacked Selty is Sonohara. I also think Selty's head is now on the body of the girl who was Sonohara's friend. I mean the scar around her neck is just a dead giveaway.
