Hopefully they'll do a good job on the series and release it in one or two sets at a decent price instead of single DVDs. I'd also be very interested in buying it if they do.

Ah, yes, that's true. If it's sub-only, that just makes it cheaper. Hoorah! The Japanese cast is uniformly awesome, anyway, and as popular as Toradora! is across the Pacific, it's still a pretty niche title, so I don't know if dubbing it would have been worthwhile.
As it pertains to NIS, Zac Bertschy at ANN says licensing and DVD production is actually relatively cheap right now, so maybe the company is testing the water a bit and seeing if it can expand a little.
EDIT: Apparently the release date is going to be changed and announced soon. Maybe there is hope for a dub, although I am not really getting my hopes up at all. Actually, I don't really care if it is dubbed at all lol.
