It just does not seem to me that Railgun is doing anything particularly well. The character development has been done in a billion other series, the action is OK but not great (at least in Index you could look forward to kickass action, even if you had to put up with a ton of expository bullshit to get there), the humor is funny only part of the time and so on.
Plus, it failed the Writing Test: If I don't enjoy writing about it each week, then I shouldn't watch it.
