I'm totally with you on this! Love the muppets, love Star Wars. I think I teared up in the movie, too. I watched it with my mom. That's one of our things - we got the muppets on DVD, and watched it all together. I generally don't cry in movies either - unless there's music involved. I'm a wimp, when it comes to music. If something strikes a chord with me, I'll start tearing up. It's way more common with live music, though - like The Lion King, on Broadway.

So am I! Hehe. He fits my Star Wars nerdness obsession right now AND the hubby and I went and saw the new muppets movie recently... and love it. So yeah, what a great image heh. I am still a muppets lover. And on a different note, that movie actually made me cry in the theater.... and that never happens. I don't cry over sad movies or books hardly ever. So yeah.

Hell yea they do. And your right. One would think Trek would have such a huge vast expansive world at your disposal to play with. If it failed like you said, then go figure. The right people just weren't in charge to make it right. Oh well, leaves room for TOR to kick ass

Well I am a pretty steadfast Trekkie as well. Dr. Bashir is one of my fav characters ever, oh how I would molest that man. That's why it was really disappointing that Star Trek online wasn't that great. It had a lot of potential too. And it's why a lot of people were weary about TOR. It had the potential to be so good, or fail so hard. I'm happy though that TOR came out awesome. But then Bioware makes such freaking fun games.

There is a Star Trek online, there has been for years now. It was highly anticipated back in the day. But it gets boring reaaaal quick. The space battles are fun, the ground stuff incredibly lame. It's just recently become free to play now. Who knows, it might be because it's lost so many subscribers. Trust me, TOR is a 1000 times better than Trek Online.

So to not really start a flame war, but has Trek done something like this? For all the faults of the movies, they more than make up for it in the books. And of course the games are so fucking tight and badass that at least for me I want so much more

LOL, that's one way to put it. And I have to say, it's insanely fun to be a bounty hunter. You have little hand held rockets and a freaking JET PACK. For your AOE, you shoot up into the air and hammer a group of stuff with little rockets lol, so badass.

I got so side tracked by side quests in Skyrim, I couldn't get anywhere to do a real quest without going a bunch of different places first lol. TOR is still great. I love each new world that I go to. I so fantastically Star Wars. It fulfills all my nerd expectations. It really is addictive.

Holy fuck!!! Level 29, spend most of my time just travelling and exploring doing side quests. Way better than Oblivion. I'm not even bored of the game yet and sometimes I have that nasty habit. I haven't touched a main quest in a while lol. What bout you? How is SW treating you?

Hey ya never know lol. Although I do have plenty I have told. Like having to do push-ups on the 50 yard line at midnight with the rest of my cabin mates for hazing the freshman girls cabin lol. Lots of hazing goes on at band camp, it's tradition heh.

Yes I was a band nerd who has been through band camp many times lol. And I do have tons of band camps stories as well. They are right, students are not always good at band camp lolol.

I think that's what makes them so fun to watch, is that they have fun themselves. You can tell they love their music and they love sharing it with other people. That makes sooo much difference when watching a performer of any kind.

Agreed. And since I was in band for so long, I have an appreciation for classical music, as nerdy as that is lol. But I spent what, 10 YEARS playing classical on my flute.

How can one not love the theme to Peanuts? So good.

This video was great. They have a whole ton of fun when they play and you can see it. I cant tell how many times I have watched people perform and its like they're ordering coffee. Id prefer to see people who look like they enjoy what they're doing.
