So glad I'm not alone! I do love the library and I really like B and N - although, I agree, they seem pricier. But the staff at Borders (at least the one by me) was phenomenal. They always go above and beyond and I think that is what I'll miss the most.

Woah. I feel like I'm getting teared up just from reading that! I loved Borders as well! Not nearly as much as you've described here, as I have never frequented the bookstore much, but any place that is a home to fresh books is a haven for me. (: I will be sad to see Borders bookstores closing down, however. D:

The one like two minutes from my house closed and I was so sad I went to the sale :) Borders was my second home they need to stay up and get people to read more. Students are becoming horrible readers now. I was in there like every month. lol Barnes and Nobles has higher prices to me but I have to go there now sadly. The library is a minute from my house so I guess I can go there but it's not the same. I'm at the library every week, they probably hate me for ordering so much stuff they put the limit down to ten items per delivery. But one of the librarians knows us because we go in there so much. I think the sale at ours was 50%-75%
