Undecided tile Ch. 2

As Runi regained conciousness she found herself in a dark, rocking room. judging by the sound of horse hooves and the way that Runi would jolt with all of the bumps she could safely say she was on a carriage. As she sat up she rubbed her head, imediantly feeling dizzy and dropping back down to her back. Runi had lost a lot of blood while she was being held captive meaning that doing such simple things such as sitting up were extremly hard for her.

Underneath herself she could feel a velvety material. It was soft and clearly easy to fall asleep on despite the constant rocking of the room. It was almost impossible to Runi to see the rest of the cabin as there was no source of light anywhere.

"You're fine" Came a familiar voice. "Just don't move around too much. You'll strain yourself."

The voice was soft and deep. Runi remembered this from earlier, the memory was foggy but he was the one who had saved her. What had actually happened? And why were her clothes so dry? She clearly remembered her clothes being drenched in blood. Unless...

"What am I wearing?" She asked quietly.

"Clean clothes..." Replied his voice.

"And how did I get into these 'clean clothes'?"

"Listen, tutz. I can defuse a bomb in a matter of seconds with one hand tied behind my back, I think I can change a girl without looking."

Despite what he had just said, she didn't feel comfortable with a man undressing her. Especially while she's unconcious.

After a long hour of journying in silence, the carriage came to an abrupt halt. A door creaked open, light flooding in and temporarily blinding her. The inside of the room was revealed to Runi.

The velvety purple was a rich purple colour which was lined with gold around the edges. Clearly this would have costed a large amount of money. Only the very rich like royalty would be able to afford this.

Drip... Drip... Drip...

Blood slowly coated the already blood-staind stone floor as Runi finally came to. A groan escaped her lips as she felt blood slowly drip from her hands down her raised arms, torso, legs and then dropping to the floor. "Finally awake I see," Came a man's voice. "You've been out for a long time, young lady. Do you regret rebelling yet?" A snarl grew across Runi's face as she spat blood filled saliva towards the man, hissing weakly as he stepped out of the way. "I'd rebel against you anyday..." She said, swallowing a mouthful of blood.

The country she lived in was ruthless and over run with power. They abused it every day by forcing the civilans to slave away, building their houses. People who rebelled, like Runi, would be punished severly until they finally gave in and obeyed their every order. Runi, on the other hand, was not as easy to crack. No matter how hard they whipped her and no matter how much they tortured her, she was never going to obey their laws.

"Are you sure you don't want to be a good little girl and do as I say?" He asked, tauntingly. Runi looked down on the ground. She was about a metre up and hanging by her wrists. It was very painful but Runi was almost used to it as she had been there for a few days already. "Never!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "Shush shush. You know if you keep doing that, you're going to die." He chuckled. "I'll die before I obey you." She said. The man hissed and left the room without saying another word. She smiled and chuckled lightly. She had won that round.

***7 hours later***

Runi was awoken by the door swinging open. She looked up just to see a masked man. He nodded once before hurrying towards a wall and pulling on a lever. Runi's wrists were instantly released sending her plumetting to the ground. She landed on her feet but soon colapsed from the massive amount of blood that had drained out of her body. "Be quiet." Said the masked man. "I'm getting you out of here."
