The New Zodiac
This is my Furuba club! YAY! Here, you are the new Zodiac generation! Only one person per animal, and ONE ANIMAL PER PERSON! Up to three humans that are involved with the Sohma family. The stories MUST CONNECT! No saying someone does something when they already posted their story where they did something totally opposite. If you want to make your person like another persons oc, YOU MUST TELL THEM YOU WANT TO! Thanx, and have tons of fun! :D

I brushed my dyed black hair out of my face and tied it back, scowling the entire time.
"Be thankful," Uncle Saku said. "The head of the family is being generous letting you come to the feast. It's the first time you'll meet the others in the Zodiac. Plus you'll learn about the rat girl." I nodded. That was my main goal, to learn about the rat. I heard she was sickly and weak, but seeing is believing.
I had slipped into a red turtle-neck and black cargo pants. All the black accented my red eyes perfectly. So I put on some lightly used sneakers and walked out the door.

I walked up to the banquet hall. Everyone was there already, and they appeared to be waiting for something as I walked in. The time had said 6:30...
The head of the family appeared from nowhere and pulled off my bracelet. I struggled to keep my form from changing, but I failed.
"This is why we don't befriend the cat," the head hissed to the other zodiac members.
My shirt ripped, and all that was left on me was the cargo pants. I was an orange monster. All I could do was run.

Today is the start of a new year, so I've been busy all day cleaning out my house....And, wow! I let it get filthy! As I am scrubbing my wood floor, my cell phone rings. I look at caller ID, and it's Yume's mom... I wonder if Yume is alright...I've never met her, but I know she's sickly, so I worry about her a lot. The phone rings again, snapping me from my thoughts.
"Hello, what's up...'sides the sky." I say, it's my usual greeting on the phone
Yume's mom laughs, witch in my eyes is a great sign! It means everything is okay on her side of the phone!
"Hi Ami." She says, "Yume is going to the banquet today, and I was wondering if you would keep an eye on her."
"sure!! I'd turn into a dog, and do tricks to get to meet Yume!" Is my reply
"thank you so much! She's only 14, so I feel a lot better that someone older then her will be watching over her."
I grin, blushing, "I'm glad she's coming. I can't wait to meet her!"
After I get off the phone, I glance at the time. Shoot! I need to get ready! I can do my housework later, right now I need to shower! an hour and 45 minutes later I'm ready to leave! I'm wearing my music note shirt, and layered black mini skirt. A bus ride and a walk through the woods later, I stand in front of Main House. It's huge! That always kinda creeped me out as a kid, but it...........still does.... I sigh, stand up as tall as I can (witch isn't very tall) and walk in!
I layed in the warm sunlight that spilled into the room. I was everyday I did this, for it was scarce in the winter time, expecially when it was this close to the Chinese New Year.
I, Yume Sohma, was the Year of The Rat. The last "cycle" had their curse broken, but it was only for them. My mother and father were surprised about me being the year of the rat. I was sick from the day I was born, so I constantly turn into the rat.
I looked out at the sun with my purple eyes. The sun light glinted off my silver hair. Being sickly most of the time, I couldn't go outside a lot. I long to go outside, most of the time. Later today, I was to meet some of the rest of the zodiac. Mom managed to bring me several pictures and told me their names. I paid attention to some of them, but the rest past me by.
I was mostly triggered by the cat, Zaphea Sohma. Unlike the picture of Kyo Sohma, the previous cat, she didn't have orange hair. I inquired my mother about this and she answered that Zaphea dyed it.
"She trains in martial arts," Mom said. I smiled slightly. I was good with martial arts, which I practiced for several hours a day with my instructor, Mizuki.
I might be happy, having something in common with the cat, but I really was scared and extremely nervous. I was the rat after all. I was sure just being that the Cat and the Cow will hate me, for my spirit had tricked them. I gave out a heavy sigh.
I hadn't been sick, so I was fit to go to the outing called by our clan leader. I was glad I wasn't so sickly, because my mother would have stayed home with me and took care of me, even though we had house nurses and maids. I was glad I always had my mother.
I closed my eyes and ran through the names of the other members of the zodiac. Then, I played the legend of the zodiac in my head. I played it again and again. Then on the third time playing it, I decided to change it up, where the rat hadn't decieved the cat and both went to the banquet. In the legend, would the "God" still leave out the poor cat? I wondered. Which animal was last, most likely.
The day past, it was time to go. I got up and dressed. I decided to where something simple, a simple white T-shirt and a pair of pants.
"Ready, madam Sohma?" asked one of the maids.
I nodded. I might as well get over it and just go. Then we were on our way.

other: Zaphea is almost as good as Yume, and puts up a better fight than Kyo use to before her. She lives with her Uncle Suke, who trains her to fight even better. When she transforms, she looks like Kyo did, but she's black, as a cat and a monster. She doesn't have anger issues, sinse her Uncle trained her to be calm and consentrait. It doesn't take too much to get her wound up, though. She does her best when it's Yume, though. She's a little like the old Rin.
