I'm not as serious as you, but I know how you feel about this anime. When Kazehaya and Sawako were walking and Sawako grabbed his jacket and Kazehaya leaned in, I"m just like "YES!!! ^O^" but then Sawako opened her eyes and it backfired. -_-
And then I went insane.
Then I finished season 2 and I screamed.
WHY DIDN'T THEY KISS OMG THEY'RE THE PERFECT COUPLE AND THAT WOULD BE A GREAT WAY TO END THE ANIME!!! BUT NOOOOOO
So yeah. C=
it was pretty cute at first but extending it made me go to the drug store near my house to by some aspirin just in case i get a stroke/heart attack. THATS HOW BAD IT WAS.

Yeah a lot of Shoujo seem to be like that and it does get fairly annoying and it's very over used. I tried watching that show but could never really get into it. It's true that sometimes they do the whole "It's too soon" "I'm not ready yet" thing way to much. Well that's kinda like me ranting too lol. Bottom line put some originality in it and make it different don't keep repeating things because it gets boring.
