    I agree with Ame..don't get the 3DS, there's a DSi, DSi XL and the DSlite, the DSlite is the cheapest. Also, if you can get a used one from GameStop (if you have a GameStop) it's cheaper that way, and get a used Pokemon game. It works just as well.:3 I got a used Pokemon Black. Not a used DSlite though..my dad bought me that a couple years ago. I bought my own 3DS for $170 plus Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D @.@ dat was expensive.lol But yeah..a DSlite is a good buy..as long as you want to have the cheaper route with GameStop. Hope this helped :)

    @Amestar:

    Oh, so Wi-Fi is like a wireless internet thing. Okay then. I'll keep that in mind.

    One question though, does the DS itself hook up to the internet, or do I need a computer for that?

    Do it.
    Just get one :P
    But maybe don't get a 3DS (The newest one) Maybe get a DS Lite (the one under) though you wouldn't be able to play the new 3DS games.
    Wi-fi is how you're connected to the computer. The DSs can hook up to the internet, and you can trade and chat and battle and other things over the web with friends.
