I don't know too much about international flights, but I'd check into the major airlines that go there and then look at each of their sites and compare rates for different days & times and different airlines. It may take a couple hours of research but you may save yourself a few hundred bucks by doing so :) Also see who charges for luggage/how much they charge, that should be taken into account.

My moms friend said flights are sometimes cheaper if you look around midnight on a Tuesday I believe.
