Me too! The only good that comes from those fees here is our "free" bus pass.

That's cool! They have a lot of programs here too. There's a Beginner's Japanese one, don't know where (more than likely Tokyo). I might go to that one. But Italy first. I have to put my Italian to use.

Yeah it is! California's like it's own greedy little country. Sure my in-state tuition is pretty low (not low enough) and we have good schools, but in total, I would have payed less as an non-resident in Florida. They have so many little fees they drop in to your account...

Yes! You should! The public university I'm looking at seems to allow students to go to a school in Kyoto as part of an exchange program, I'd LOVE to do that! You know, if I learn Japanese. And if I can convince my parents to let me go. LOL

I don't know why it's so expensive! It's crazy. And none of my in-state schools are good, so that cheaper alternative is out of the picture.

That's the worst part >.> I'm tempted to convince my family to move to another country with me just so we won't repay loans. Why do they charge us so much?! Other countries don't. Sure it's not cheap, but you won't end up with a huge debt.

Yeah, I've been deferred twice (applied EA though, no outright rejections yet) but I'm only gunna keep my application in the pool for one of them. Now I'll be down to five schools. Meh.

Yeah. I was so torn when I had to decline Jacobs :( The one school I was excited about. That is ridiculous. It happened to me for like two schools.

I had to send reply and tell them I didn't plan on attending. It was on the same form they send your acceptance and when they charge you for deciding to go with them.
