Signing up for classes in college is a pain. All the classes I needed to fufill my major requirements, except for global studies, weren't available, so I have to wait until *next quarter* and hope that there are spots available.

We had quarters/semesters until last year, when we took on the trimester system. I don't like it because unless it's an AP class, you only have a year long class for two trimesters.
And if you have a lot of AP classes, you are screwed trying to squeeze in your required electives and such.
