My dad's Nicaraguan, so I want to see what his home was like. And from the way he describes it, it sounds like he lived in a nice small town and not out in the rural areas. He also visited more parts of the country and knows more places than just the immediate neighboring towns. And then there's this one city named Granada is said to be the best preserved Spanish settlement, so I really want to go see the city and it's architecture

It was >.<, my mom wonders why I refuse to go with her I seriously thought it couldn't get worse...until my mom took us on a trip to the northern jungles to the Mayan pyramids. The site itself was amazing, but the trip there scared me half to death.

Haha, funny thing here is, it takes twice as long to get downtown by car than it does to take the metro...you just have to be patient and wait for it. If only Guatemala had been like where you live. I had to walk up a muddy hill to get out of the colony and reach the 'main' town which was still hours away from civilization

Haha it takes me about fifteen minutes or so to get near downtown by car, and twenty some minutes to get to school...an hour to get to the nearest large ish city...I live, though xD

Yep. That's one of the good points of living in the city, everything is a short walk for drive away. I lived for like two months in the middle of nowhere ( Guatemala) and barely survived. I was never happier to come back from a 'vacation'

Haha, a definite plus. I would come home so tired from climbing up and down that I would opt to use the elevator to get to my apartment...I'm glad there aren't many stairs on campus, but my room is on the 7th floor of the dorms so I have to hope and pray that elevator doesn't break down >.<

There's no tall buildings here, it's weird because my elementary school (in a different state) was like four stories haha

Seriously?! 3 floors is the average here...I look out my window and there are buildings everywhere. My school was in half of the fourth and fifth floors, but the building itself was huge. We had like 200 students. But they only built it up and covered the length of the street because the area was so tiny and they had to cram in the P.E. area and cafeteria.
After having to climb so many stairs for years, I feel like I'd love to go to a small 1-2 floor school.

HAH, my school is so small it's only one story. Plus most of the buildings in the town I live in are one story. I swear, I think the tallest building in town is a four story hotel *laughs*
But seriously, we have 700 some kids? Really small.

Haha, I can imagine that ^-^ my locker turned into a temporary anime DVD library when my friend (the one that tortures me with spoilers) let me borrow Tsubasa, I thought he had the boxed set or those combined sets, but he appears with a stack of DVD boxes, plus the Clannad DVDs for my other friend. We had to clear out my locker to fit them in (our lockers were tiny) and then we just stuffed my books in his locker

Lucky! I was the only one willing to buy manga in my old group of friends, so my collection's larger than theirs now. Not to mention they weren't very keen on lending their volumes...yet if I didn't let them borrow mine >.> agh I'm glad they're gone

Battles go on in the manga too...it IS a shonen after all...but the anime is way worse.
Luckily my friend had it so I could mooch the entire series off her xD

The original voice cast for Bleach is awesome!
At first L's voice bothered me, but after a while I thought it worked okay for him.

Yeah >.> I didn't mind it at first, but that was 'cause I hadn't heard the original voice cast. I don't know how the Death Note dub compares to the Japanese, but there weren't any voices that irritated me (except Misa, but just seeing her irritates me), so that qualifies as good for me

The anime before season 3 is really slow and fillerized...so yeah, you catch up in the manga pretty fast :P

It is pretty good, though I seriously celebrated when Kanda and his group finally appeared because I was getting tired of just seeing Allen train and the rest of Cross' group struggling. I have nothing against Lavi, but there are only so many fire stamps I can take before I go insane...I can't believe that in just 5 volumes I've nearly caught up to where I am on the anime
