I believe the site used to have unlimited entries a few years ago? I kindda like there being a limit on the submissions. It gives everyone a fair chance to submit without being over crowded by one particular member.
That really annoys me as well. >__>; As a member, I can post four fan works per 24 hours, so that's definitely a plus. :D I still wish it was unlimited, though!
